If you don’t have effective ways to deal with those feelings or to understand the traumas that have happened, you might start to feel depressed or anxious.
But don’t worry, with individual counseling, we can help. We use a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to your needs including EMDR Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy. We’ll also talk about ways to handle tough family situations, deal with problems at work, talk about your beliefs, and process grief and loss. Sometimes, relationships can be tough, even when things are going well. A lot of couples find that dealing with the stressors in relationships all by themselves is not working. Financial problems, parenting issues, and intimacy struggles are a few challenges couples face. There are other things too, like infidelity, addiction issues, or if the bond between you just isn’t strong anymore.
With couples counseling, we’re here to help you work through these things together. We use Gottman Therapy techniques and attachment theories to identify problematic patterns that have created some of those issues. Then we work together to find ways to navigate these issues and make your relationship stronger.
Family Counseling for Growth and Resilience
We bring extensive insights into foster/adoptive families, blended family dynamics, and their distinct challenges. Family counseling encompasses a spectrum of care, addressing mental health and behavioral concerns like Depression, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and Non-suicidal self-injury (cutting), among other childhood disorders.
